Today we’d like to introduce you to Francisco Nyakamwe.

Hi Francisco, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Francisco nyakamwe aka fleak and I was born in Tanzania Africa but my ethnicity is Congolese. I’ve been in the United States since I was about 7-8 years old consistently. I started cutting hair my senior year cause of COVID, it started first cutting myself then moved to cutting my brother, then friends. Eventually I got an opportunity to start cutting at faded daily barbershop, I cut there for a year and some change, then moved to primetime barbershop, I cut there for a couple of years u till I opened up my own barbershop called fleak barbershop

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Just managing the business aspect and also persevering through cosmetology school

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I take pride in my haircut and the level of detail that is presented in every haircut. Also the comfortable that I offer to all my clients, where they can feel at ease

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I believe that you are what you consume so cause of that I try to listen to things that will build to becoming who I want to me, for me that is Jesus, therefore I listen to a lot of gospel music and sermons, just so I can learn, encourage and rebuke myself if needed so that I may become more like Jesus
