Hi DeVante, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started doing floors in 2005 with my grandad. Once I grew a passion for it, I started my company in 2015 and haven’t looked back since
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
They say anything that come east is not worth having and I strongly agree. This has been an amazing journey and I’m learning something new every day.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I own a flooring company I specialize in flooring, but I am known for doing carpet installation.
I’m most proud of the many jobs I’ve completed so far.
I created new promotions and specials monthly for the public
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk-taking is always a part of this industry. I haven’t took a huge risk financially in a while. The most important thing to remember is never rush a job and always double-check your numbers before submitting an invoice/bid to a customer
