Check Out Caleb Hogans’ Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Hogans.

Hi Caleb, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The vision of Two Digital started from my own experiences in life. I played multiple sports growing up. Was recruited to play basketball in college. ended up playing at a small school and had a pretty decent 4-year career. But when I look back through my life. I rarely have any photos, video, highlights that are not the basic or standard angles for the camera. From graduating college with my bachelor degree in Fine Arts and graphic design. I honestly was not sure what I wanted to get into after college. So, I went the route of getting a good corporate job; such as a web designer, social media manager, media specialist, and more. Learned some great things from all those jobs but I knew it was something greater for me to do. I picked up a camera again after a few classes in college and just fell in love with it. I had small little gigs of photoshoots and video shoots. I stayed consistent, talked to the right people, made connections, and the work showed how good I am at this. So, I had the vision of what Two Digital will become by understanding what social media should look like in regards to recruitment, scouting, sports, memories, and a more dramatic view of all of that. I decided to buy my own gear and quit my job. And here we are now!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It looks smooth from the outside looking in. But it definitely has been some ups and downs to start your own business and try to be successful at that. The struggles of being looked at legitly, finding and maintaining clients, and the most important thing is finding a way of survival. I believe that I am bringing a different sense to the meaning of being a cameraman/woman.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a graphic designer, photographer, videographer, social media specialist, clothing design. I am known for almost all of the services I provide. Can do it all. and I am proud to say that. That sets me apart from others. just being so well-rounded in the aspect of all media. Filming, editing, taking sports photos (any sport), weddings, graduation photos, proms, and so much more! I also have my own style of camera work. I am most proud of the progress I am making. Just starting right before the pandemic, I really did not believe things would be like this but grateful for every client and opportunity I have received.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned so far is that nothing will come right away. With time and consistency, things will come.
