Meet Kyle Aleyas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Aleyas. 

Hi Kyle, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I have always been a very artistic individual. Growing up, I found myself drawn to anything and everything that provided creative expression. There is an indescribable soul connection that I have when it comes to art. In 2014 I began working for a local florist that was a huge player in the wedding industry. It was very fulfilling to be able to bring events to life with beautiful floral designs. After some time, I left the designer I was working for to pursue a career in the mortgage industry. I quickly felt that a part of me was unfulfilled due to not being able to be creative. As result, I began doing my own designing on the side for friends and family. 

In 2021 a relative of mine asked me to design florals for her daughter’s Baptism. Her daughter’s name is Faith. When designing the florals for the Baptism, it was during that moment that Faith Florals was born. I saw an opportunity to express my personal creativity and vision. I knew in that moment that I wanted to cater to clients that plan events on a smaller scale yet still appreciate creativity, elegance, and luxury. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With any business startup, there are always bumps in the road. Some of the struggles have included figuring out the amount of florals to order for each event, dealing with floral shortages, and significant increases is the cost of florals. 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am the owner and head designer of Faith Florals and Co. I specialize in bringing large-scale floral installations to life. I love a good challenge when it comes to designing. I take pride in the thorough care I take when handling the florals, I work with. From the moment they are received, I ensure that each stem is cared for properly so that perfection is the result on the day of the event. 

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
A can-do attitude and a big smile. You have to live what you do! My energy and mindset translates over to my work. I take care of myself mentally so that I am able to provide great work.
