Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Lesniak.
Hi Hannah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I never knew what I wanted to be growing up. It was a lot of trial and error. Along the way, I realized I have a passion for helping people. This is why every job I have had for the last nine years has been in customer relations. As I reached my 20s & moved into a place of my own, I quickly figured out interior design is a strong interest of mine (Shout out to HGTV). Which lead me to my previous place of employment, in commercial interior design. But I still wasn’t happy.
I was so tired of trying to figure out what I wanted for my life. I would pray for a sign, anything to point me in the right direction. On January 28th, 2022, that’s when I received my sign. My best friends were getting into real estate together and asked me to join them & become business partners.
Clearly, I agreed on this adventure without hesitation, and The Harrison Group was born. I can honestly say with my whole heart I have never been happier. The journey thus far has single-handedly been the greatest time of my life. Even though it hasn’t been easy. The amount of studying, life transitions & mental breakdowns I have put myself through in the last seven months is astounding. It was all worth it after officially signing with RE/MAX Eclipse. Because of my wonderful partners, I have not wanted to give up. They motivate me every day to be the best version of myself. They are the family I got to pick & I’m so blessed I chose the right ones.
As we embarked on this roller coaster, we sat down to discuss what real estate means to us. The beauty of Harrison Group, in my eyes, isn’t to be a top-producing agent (although that title might be nice to have one day). To me, it’s to help people find a house that they get to turn into a home, to create long-lasting memories in with the people they love and care for the most. To be actively involved in each one of my clients’ lives & our community (not just for the sake of a transaction either). To build real connections with people and to bring some light back into this crazy thing called life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was staying motivated. Reminding myself everything doesn’t have to be perfect all the time; I just have to be consistent. Consistency is the biggest factor in success.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We live in a digital age now; everything is social media based. I work in a profession where most people take themselves too seriously, projecting a non-relatable lifestyle because they believe it to be politically correct. I am most proud of staying true to who I am & being unapologetically myself at all times. Allowing others to see my silly, funny side through unscripted videos of what I am doing throughout the day helps build a level of connection & trust. At the end of the day, my business is structured around building personal connections with my clients. Not bragging about how much money I make.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Just be you, to the fullest. The people who love and support you will work with you.
