Daily Inspiration: Meet Heaven Smith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heaven Smith. 

Hi Heaven, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my web design business in 2019 during quarantine. Initially, I only did it to make a couple bucks during a hard time but as I began to gain clients and had to actually make the sites, seeing my passion for the creative world grew drastically! I love to boost up people’s businesses. I like to be the one that help others move on to the next level in their career. Seeing the joy people have after seeing my creations keep me going. And how I got to where I am today is just by staying consistent. I’m not the biggest business owner but my business definitely has grown in every aspect. My designs are better, I work faster, more exposure, and the foundation of my business is solid. 

And as far as becoming a female creative which includes my creative direction, host, and content creating. That all started by me having my own podcast and falling in love with conversation and making videos. So, as I transitioned over to the creator world, the opportunities just followed. I was aware enough to be able to see it, acknowledge it, and make my mark! That’s why I continue to elevate because I pay attention to what’s for me. 

So as once said, I’m still growing, but I am so grateful for how far I have come. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy becoming an entrepreneur. Some of the main struggles I have faced is; consistency, motivation, and self-doubt. Sometimes we get so in our heads that we start to think about “what if’s” and the bad that could occur, and that make us become unmotivated, lazy, and start to procrastinate, and next thing you know, we are no longer growing and only staying stagnant. So, on days like that. Only thing you need to have is FAITH! You are not always going to be motivated … it’s life! But one thing you can never lose is your faith. As long as you know in your heart that this is what you want to do with your life and everything will work out for you as long as you BELIEVE… you can never go wrong. 

Always push yourself to go harder even on days you feel like you have no energy to push at all. In order to receive the blessings you pray for God need to see you are willing to fight for what you want AND KEEP that spot. 

And most of all, even on your bad days, BE GRATEFUL! Always be happy for what you have and not sad about what you don’t got. If you are not happy with your tools and situation and making it work, that goes back to me saying, “How can God bless you with more if you aren’t even grateful for what you have now!” 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in web design and marketing/ branding. But some may know me for being a podcast host or upcoming content creator. 

I’m most proud of my growth. Seeing that, I started out with NOTHING. No resources, no good following, didn’t know the right people, wasn’t good financially, and mentally drained, fighting depression, etc. 

I didn’t let that discourage me, I gained everything I needed over time because I believed in myself. 

Over the many challenges I have faced, I have YET to let ANYONE see me down. I smile every day! I’m happy. I’m focused. And for that, that’s what I’m most proud of. Betting it all on myself and knowing that I’m destined for greatness! I can’t do nothing BUT WIN!!! 

What were you like growing up?
What I was like growing up? Oh lord, if I could give one word it would be ‘sassy’! HA. I was very demanding as a child with a lot … and I mean A LOT of personality. But I was loving, entertaining, and outgoing. So, everyone loved that about me.
