Meet Mariam Yelda

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mariam Yelda.  

Hi Mariam, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It started with a passion of loving to glam people and make them feel extra beautiful. I loved doing makeup so I decided to take classes & start working in the basement at our home. My career grew so fast, I had to add artists to my team and open a salon with hair stylists and more makeup artists. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Covid was a struggle. Shut down my salon for 3 months after only being open for 2 weeks.

I love what I do, and I enjoy every second I get with my clients to listen to them and perfect their inspiration look they have for that day. 

I enjoy seeing others grow, so I put my energy into training and helping other artists get to reach their goal to be a successful makeup artists. 

Are there any books, apps, podcasts, or blogs that help you do your best?
I am more into music, family, and friends. Books not so much.
