Meet Marwa Elhadi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marwa Elhadi.  

Hi Marwa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Making sweets has always been a passion of mine. I started out making for friends and family then started selling out the house. I, later on, made the decision to open my own shop and couldn’t be more happier. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s a big responsibility owning a shop and making sure everything is the way you want it, especially after only working alone. It hasn’t been the easiest but I couldn’t have asked for better employees. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in homemade Arabic sweets and jams which. I’m known for the homemade taste and love that goes into making my sweets.
