Conversations with 3xotic

Today we’d like to introduce you to 3xotic.

Hi 3xotic, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hey Everyone I’m 3XOTIC” (Exotic), a Detroit native, that has been following her passion for the performing arts and honoring my talents since the age of two.

By the age of five, I was acting in several plays and was the youngest to perform with an acting company Called the ”Tree House Players”.

I have spent most of life in studio with My Father who is also a musician.

I’ve learned and been guided a lot growing up especially listening to all of the greats such as Michael Jackson all the way up to Missy Elliot, Aaliyah, Brandy Janet and so many talented others!

One night I dreamed I was on stage and the crowd was cheering “3XOTIC” !!!, I knew that was a sign of a new image and a brand that would be known around the world.

Once I understood the true definition, I applied it to my craft and music, that is when the magic really started for my career.

Fast forward to 2022, here 3xotic is today, after two mixtapes awards and now on my 3 album, which will soon hit the airwaves!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, being an independent artist is not an easy road by far, but at the same time, it’s very rewarding! I’ve been building my brand as 3xotic since 2009! Even though I’ve experienced many things and performed many places, it wasn’t up until this year, I finally understand who I am completely as an artist!

If I could Brag a little, I’m different in the best way possible!

Overall being a Visionary and Creating my own lane, own niche, or even just staying creative without someone beating me to the punch in the entertainment industry can be challenging by itself!

Thankfully I still manage to Push through!

For me, it comes down to how bad I really want this, and want to show the world my creativity! So, most of the time when any obstacles come my way, I’m ready to break all the barriers down!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a singer, songwriter, model, I like to say a full-on entertainer! I’m known for my sensual and seductive songs, look, and performances.

I’m most proud of just being ME, not looking to be like any other artist out here, or looking for acceptance.

What sets me apart is the over-the-top performances, visuals, and content that I get to share with the world, which keeps people captivated the whole performance.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I’ve always had a bubbly spirit, always love to laugh and create especially with my friends! I’ve dabbled in almost everything when it comes to entertainment and arts, from drawing, piano, dance, sewing, jewelry making, photography, acting, vocal lessons, and more lol through the years. Thankfully I’ve been blessed with amazing parents, so whatever I mentioned growing up, or they seen I took a liking to, they’ve always made sure to get me the proper tools or lessons to explore my talents.

Growing up with a father in the entertainment field I’d say, I got an early start to see how to put on shows and to constantly create. I grew up in the studio watching him make and write music. Seeing him do that inspired me to be in the entertainment and performing field as well. I knew at an early age being a performer was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My childhood was great honestly! I have no complaints!
