Hidden Gems: Meet Trevon Mosby of WIARNAKAMA L3C

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trevon Mosby. 

Hi Trevon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
On January 24, 2020, WIARNAKAMA L3C transformed from a life-long, passionate idea into a reality. When my business partner and I became friends in the 8th grade, we shared a vision to bring people together with our gifts and build a community of creators that would help one another to realize their dreams. We’ve gone to college since then and have worked a number of jobs… I even got married and now have a family of my own! It’s been a busy life for us both! 

A lot of my own story involves patience and persistence; timing and faith; and never giving up hope that one day, I would be able to help others and myself to build the lives they want, with our starting points being right where we are. As of April 8, 2022, we can now start helping people in this way. I have endured a lot of waiting for the right opportunities. I’ve suffered long through some of my worst nightmares and unanticipated trials. But I thank God that He first helped me and has now placed me in this position to do the same for others. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For WIARNAKAMA, yes! All these years, we’ve been having fun creating and planning every detail of our business to start on our best foot when we step onto the world stage. 

We’ve struggled with staying motivated and consistent in our creating and planning, and even more in simply communicating despite the busyness of adult life. Both of us also struggle against depression and its debilitating effects. We’re learning to wage a war of inner peace – and to get out of our own way. We’re getting better, step by step. We plan on maintaining this momentum as we build a team of like-minded people around us, evangelizing for the vision of WIARNAKAMA: to push forward alongside every creative entrepreneur on their way to personal-defined success. 

As you know, we’re big fans of WIARNAKAMA L3C. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
If you know where I want to be professionally, next, you want to know what you need to get there. If you know what you need to get to where you want to be, all you need now is to know where to look for help. WIARNAKAMA satisfies both of these needs, pointing you to vetted resources that will help you to become the bridge between your dreams and our reality. 

I have 4 professional jobs and 4 personal jobs. Professionally, I am a Lyrical Artist, an Entrepreneur, a Screenwriting Director, and a full-time Employee of Cornerstone University. Personally, I’m a husband, a father, a student, and a Pastor-in-training. Since I’ve started each of these life paths, I’ve learned to educate myself until I get the help that I need. I know where I want to be professional. All I need is a laptop or cell phone and an Internet service I pay for monthly. There are so many people and organizations offering cheap or free information to creators and entrepreneurs. In my personal time, I seek them out and continue to educate myself until I can function in these areas in professional capacities. Degrees and certifications didn’t make the 12 Disciples, Disciples — time spent with Jesus did. 

So, educate yourself until you get to where you want to be. When you’re there, keep educating yourself. With faith, imagination, and bold, persistent action, you’ll build your way forward. What’s next?
Our future is filled with titan-sized, realized dreams and bold, innovative ideas saturating our society and others around the world. I plan on starting that future with a WIARNAKAMA Kickstarter Campaign, launching in July 2022. More information will be available in the coming months.
