Daily Inspiration: Meet Cameron ‘Ghetto Kids Cam’ Warren

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron ‘Ghetto Kids Cam’ Warren.

Cameron, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The Ghetto Kids brand started in 2016 but Ghetto Kids Cam the creative started in 3rd grade when I designed my first airbrush tee. I’ve had 2 previous brands before Ghetto Kids, 1 with my brother “G.E.E.K” & the other alone “Known”. Both helped me to get to where I am today creatively and business-wise. The brand Ghetto Kids is my baby though it means everything to me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With any business or being an entrepreneur, it’s always bumps in the road along the way but you have to learn from them and adjust. I’ve had bad times and great times on this road but I’m thankful for it all.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m the owner of the Detroit-based streetwear brand Ghetto Kids. The Ghetto Kids brand was created to inspire other kids from the ghetto to create and dream no matter the circumstances. I would say I’m most proud of creating the Ghetto Kids brand because it inspires so many people.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being able to create and show the world my creativity is one thing that makes me happy. Outside of creating, helping, and inspiring others bring me happiness. Every year I do a Ghetto Kids toy giveaway for Christmas and a school supply giveaway for back to school that brings me so much joy.
