Meet Lauren Hughes of LT Multimedia Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Hughes.

Lauren, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started photography back in August of 2019. It was a passion of mine for a while but I didn’t truly start shooting until then. I charged $50 for an hour-long shoot and used my vlogging camera to take photos. At the time, that’s all I had and I made it work. I look back now and I’m proud of myself for working with what I had at the time. There was nothing that was going to stand in the way of me living out my photography dreams. Now I’m blessed to have a group of amazing clients that I shoot with on a weekly basis and a community of people whose support runs deep.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all but I’ve slowly learned that’s what entrepreneurship is about. It’s about the ups and downs, trials and tribulations. In the past, it’s been months where I wouldn’t have a single client and would question my skillset. As time went on I knew my ability to create wasn’t the issue. I had to take a step back and find ways to be better within my business. I had to trust the process.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about LT Multimedia Co.?
LT Multimedia is a company holistically driven in mindfully and dynamically produced photography and social media management. What sets me apart from others would have to be that I pride myself on creating relationships with each one of my clients. Yes, I may just be their photographer or social media manager but I also want to be someone they trust. What I mean by that is, I want them to feel comfortable in front of the camera when we shoot or when I curate a post for them. I want them to know and expect nothing less than a top-notch experience. What I am most proud about thus far would have to be how excited my clients are when they receive their photos. There’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing their reactions.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years I see photography truly taking off. Hiring a photographer is one of the best things a business owner can do for their brand. It’ll take your business to another level and even help boost sales. You have companies that hire social media managers, project managers, and graphic designers full-time, so why not do the same for quality photo content? I think it’s just as important.
