Meet Kelsey Knie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Knie.

Hi Kelsey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Hi! Thank you so much for having me. I started in the wedding industry about ten years ago, working primarily with florals. Then two years ago, I started branching into more of the signage and event coordination realm. I was planning my wedding and decided in order to get the style of signs that I wanted, I had to do them myself, and this is how LB was born. “LB” is named after my two rescue pitbull mixes, Luna & Bentley. They, along with my husband & baby boy, are the reason I have continued to follow my passions in the wedding industry, expanding LB into the local signage & coordination business it has become today!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a COVID bride myself, I struggled through 2020 as a bride and as a vendor. Thankfully, after I  postponed my wedding, I spent a lot of 2020 networking with many other vendors to focus on the growth of my business and continue learning from others, which has helped LB grow into 2021 and beyond. We have finally started to see the wedding industry begin to make a comeback, and we are so excited to see full-scale events and couples who are just so happy to finally be able to celebrate their big day!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I provide wedding signage as well as Day-of & Month-of Event Coordination services. I offer acrylic, wood, and free-standing signage in all different styles, and I have a slew of rentals for display, including my copper pipe stands that are my most popular rental!

What are your plans for the future?
Currently, we are planning on expanding our services to include more add-ons to our coordination services, more rentals, and of course following the trends with more modernized signs.
