Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Bagnell.

Hi Hannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was gifted a basic DSLR camera for Christmas is 2013 from my husband. At that time, my best friend was pregnant with her first baby. I started with her maternity session and haven’t put my camera down since. The passion I have for photography drives me to do more and be better.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to owning your own business definitely has come with its challenges. I had to slow down when I was pregnant myself, having to put my children’s needs first. Being in a very saturated market, where just about everyone is a photographer, can be very difficult and discouraging.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a wedding and portrait photographer. Wedding days are my absolute favorite! No one shows up saying this is going to be the worst day. Everyone is there showing their love and support.
Maternity sessions are probably one of my favorites as well! As a mom, we go through so many different seasons and struggles, and capturing mom’s beauty while pregnant is truly an amazing stage.

My style is a warmer, natural, candid experience.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband has been a huge supporter and was the one to gift me my first camera. My friends as well have been huge contributors to helping me grow and practice!
