Meet Alison Bozarth of Michigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alison Bozarth.

Hi Alison, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I used Art to communicate, also using it as a tool to function through life. I use that to enter into jury Art Fair‘s across the United States. I also went in with my mother into owning a gallery in Delmar Loop where we support community exhibitions, and host an annual Art Fair.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not smooth getting to where I am. I had a 9 to 5 job with stable income and did my Art Fair and Art creations on the side. When Covid hit it took my normal job and I made the leap to become a full-time artist not wanting to re-enter into the workforce.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known for animals and organic life, such as plants and floral. What separates me from others is my stylistic view and my whimsical perspective. I have a specialized detail details in my work.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Characteristics that I feel are important to my success are being gracious supportive of creatives.
