Meet Jared Woods of Michigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Woods.

Jared, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
There isn’t anything brief about my story but I can give a short version to sum it up. It’s been a long journey, even though my work here is not done. To start I’d have to say my story started when I understand my Assignment. Meaning knowing my purpose. Understanding that as an adolescent, I had a different thought process than the norm. So growing up maneuvering different from my peers was the beginning of my story. Different experiences continued to mode, shape and develop my character. I simply put my own leg work in essentially what others don’t do for themselves, but will wake up and go work for someone else’s dream when they clock in. Being confident without needing validation. Refusing to give in or give up on My family and myself. Trusting God And Following his lead.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Lol of course not anyone saying that it was a smooth road or easy route would be lying! Different experiences and because I have different businesses, it makes each obstacle or struggle different from the next. To start just trying to figure everything out was a struggle. Sometimes you try things differently because you might not think it’s working and it can blow the whole plan up. And then you have times where you do what you think is working, but that has came and went and it might be expired and maybe time to move on, and I may not have known at that time. Dealing with the wrong people relationships, business wise, even family. Bad investments, the wrong investments.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an abstract expressionist a CEO, owner, a designer, stylist artist, and serial entrepreneur. A master of many things. I specialize in exclusive intricate detailed designing both art and clothes. I’m known for a lot. But what made me reach, globally and internationally was my 1of1 organized chaos jeans. Which has gotten me to celebrity clients. I’m also known for my 1of1 artworks. Designed using hand cut special edition fabrics. Mixed with paint. Framed inside a glass frame. I have a lot of accomplishments and accolades under my championship belt, but my story isn’t finished so I’m not sure what I’m most proud about right now. But if I had to choose I’d say sticking to the vision and actually bringing an idea from out of my head into reality real life, I did that! What sets me apart from others I mean, I’m God‘s gift lol we all special. I use my talents properly I lead I don’t follow. I beg to be different not in a controversial way even though it can be sometimes. I just have a strong opinion and I voice it. But I’m not a trendy guy who follows the trend. I’m the trendsetter I get Dressed and tell the people What’s FLY. I’m rockin the 2036 drip. This what we on.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Yes first of all believe! It starts there. If you don’t believe in yourself, your defeating yourself already. Don’t always take someone’s word. Do your own research and homework. Don’t be afraid to put the legwork in. Also you’re gonna lose people on this journey! Family friends, even partners most won’t understand or see the vision and it’s OK! Elevation requires separation. This is a guarantee just make sure you stand on business! Don’t be afraid to walk by yourself. Whatever business it is that you’re starting or whatever entrepreneurship you’re about to enter. Make sure you do the research and know the knowledge whether it’s the math, the business side of the analytics the inventory whatever it is just make sure you study and know the research. For me, there were a lot of things that I didn’t know specifically about a lot of the business that I have and it was more so the business side of things. I wish I knew the business side before I actually stepped into them.
