Conversations with Logan Mario

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Mario.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started out as a fan and student of music. Each song & artist I fell in love with was teaching me something: writing styles, genres, dynamics, vocal techniques. When I was 16, I wrote my first song and never stopped. Here we are, 5 projects later.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not been smooth. I’ve done a lot of auditions and attempted a lot of collaborations. At the end of the day, though… this dream is mine and thus: my responsibility. So I keep moving knowing the world will get it one day soon.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a singer/songwriter and performance artist. I specialize in spreading the message of love, that you are not alone, and I create safe spaces through my music and relationships. I’m most proud of my music catalogue because I’m 100% independent: Me and God made this happen haha! What sets me apart is that I know there is room for all of us.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the music industry being significantly impacting by AI and perfectionism within the next 5 – 10 years. You can actually see it happening now. It’s going to take music makers and supporters coming together to re-define the standard. We have to recognize and restore the value and regard for the discipline, practice and art of creating and performing music as human beings. It is not perfect, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
