Today we’d like to introduce you to Pam Thum Marshall.
Hi Pam, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Pam Thum Marshall: Take Courage, Trust God, Do Good
For singer, songwriter, speaker, pastor’s wife, and encourager Pam Thum, music has never simply been about performing. It has always been about reaching people with faith, hope, joy, and the presence of God.
“I want to lead people into God’s presence where there’s 100% JOY!” Pam says.
That passion began early.
Pam signed her first record contract as a teenager and quickly became one of Christian music’s fastest-selling new artists. Her career would go on to include #1 Christian radio songs, five Dove Award nominations, a nomination for New Artist of the Year, and recognition as International Artist of the Year. Her music and ministry have taken her across America and internationally, giving her the opportunity to encourage people from countless backgrounds and walks of life.
But today, Pam believes her message is needed in a fresh way.
In a culture that can feel increasingly noisy, divided, fearful, and uncertain, she sees women, parents, young people, and families searching for something real again — real faith, real community, real encouragement, and the confidence that they are not alone.
Her message has become simple, memorable, and deeply relevant:
Take courage. Trust God. Do good. Live in peace.
Inspired by the timeless truths of Psalm 37, Pam has also launched a new faith-based clothing company built around those words. The vision is bigger than clothing. It is about helping people live their faith and wear it — bringing visible messages of courage, strength, goodness, and peace into a world that desperately needs them.
Pam wants what people wear to become a conversation starter and an encouragement to someone who may be struggling with fear, discouragement, or uncertainty.
“People are surrounded by messages every day,” she says. “Why not wear something that reminds someone to take courage, trust God, do good, and live in peace?”
Pam is married to Dr. Stephen Marshall, an award-winning songwriter, pastor, teacher, and bestselling author whose books include his recent release, Live Life Strong. Together, Stephen and Pam have spent their lives helping people build stronger faith, stronger families, and stronger lives.
Through Living Room Church, their teaching and encouragement now reach people in 156 countries, connecting individuals and families with practical biblical truth and the reminder that God is present and His principles still work.
For Pam, whether she is singing, speaking, encouraging a family, or creating a shirt carrying a simple message of faith, the mission remains the same.
She wants people to know that fear does not have to define their future. The noise of the culture does not have to control their peace. And no matter how uncertain the world becomes, there is still a solid place to stand.
Take courage. Trust God. Do good. Live in peace.
Sometimes the strongest message we can give the world is not simply something we say.
It is something we live.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I grew up traveling as my parents we like Billy Graham they put on large events to tell people how much God loved them. I felt always on the outside and not good enough but I would sing songs to God and there I found security.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in much I believe in good
Good blessings
I think of the true meaning of Good which means GOOD = right alignment + right function + right outcome.
In other words, something is good when it is functioning the way God intended it to function — producing what is right, beneficial, life-giving, and whole.
That fits the whole framework:
Good Life — Live aligned with God.
Good Leader — Lead from character.
Good Legacy — Leave others stronger
That’s why Pam’s husband Dr Stephen marshall and her are lauching the good leader school and couching network in 2027 that they are hoping will people people from all walks of life to live good and lead goodGood Leaders is about one simple truth: before you can lead others well, you have to learn to lead your own life well.
We help people build a Good Life, become a Good Leader, and leave a Good Legacy by teaching practical, biblical principles for character, relationships, communication, decision-making, and perseverance.
Because leadership isn’t just about a title or position. Everyone is leading somewhere — in their family, business, church, community, or relationships.
