Today we’d like to introduce you to Emerson Edgerly.
Hi Emerson, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started making music when I was 10. My first song was a cover of a Juice Wrld song. I stopped for a while when I was 15 and started back up again halfway through my senior year after my friend asked me to manage him. I went through many artist names before I stuck with DEADB4EM
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s never going to be a smooth road, there’s always going to be ups and downs. However some things I’ve struggled with is my confidence and mental health, that was a huge reason I stopped making music the first time.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I feel like i definitely specialize in being able to evoke emotions out of people through my music. I’m most proud of how easy it’s been for me to reach out and expand into areas I’m not familiar with. I do think that’s what sets me apart is my willingness to walk uncharted territory regarding music.
