Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Anding.
Hi Jared, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started learning music from my father, who was a great vocalist. He also taught me the backs of the piano and guitar. I didn’t really stick to them as much as I should have. Of course there was the schools choir and then Ludacris entered the chat. Then 50 cent, young jeezy , Kanye west and lil Wayne. As a kid this was starting my starting 5. The reason I make music though is because of The Weeknd, Childish Gambino, Traphik, Mac Miller and Ab-Soul. Not to forget Chavis Chandler and Superkaine. I was inspired by how the put words together more than anything else though there stories saved my mind. That’s why I make music to help save a mind from itself if even for a moment. That’s why I create high vibe music. Myth Music if you will. I love to help as many people as I can and dance while doing it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Smooth as I make it. Everyday comes with its on struggles but if you maneuver through the tunnel, you may come to a river. Different but nothing I’m not excited to experience. Music is supposed to be fun. The road is supposed to be fun.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a multidisciplinary creative, artist, and entrepreneur focused on bringing ideas to life through music, events, entertainment, and community. I specialize in creating experiences that bring people together while building something bigger than myself.
I’m most proud of my ability to turn an idea into something real. Whether it’s creating music, putting together an event, developing a brand, or creating opportunities for other artists, I’m always thinking about the bigger picture and how everything can connect.
What sets me apart is that I don’t really see myself as fitting into one box. I’m an artist, but I’m also a business-minded person, a creator, and someone who genuinely cares about the people and community around me. I’m willing to learn, experiment, take risks, and keep building until I see the vision come to life.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Absolutely, those risk sometimes push be further or do absolutely nothing but give me fake clout.
For instance, the risk of performing if you have a life. When you open up for an artist be prepared to perform at a different time than. Be prepared for the entire crowd to enjoy your music but no one talks to you afterwards. Be prepared to go into work tired the next day. Be prepared to help out if you can after and be prepared to do it all over again, because that’s the risk we love to take.
