Rising Stars: Meet Jaylon Tyler of Other

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylon Tyler.

Hi Jaylon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started doing music in 6th grade recording off my tablet then in 8th grade starting to record off of my phone by the time I was 15 in 10th grade I got offered my first record deal I didn’t sign but it made me realize I was on peoples radars I recorded so many songs dropped so many posted myself on social media I paid for blog promo and when I was 18 I started having shows in Little Rock and pine bluff Arkansas and networking when I was 19 i signed a admin publishing deal that was a great decision I’m 23 now I’ve done over 30 million views

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t but that’s apart of the journey ups and downs getting a lot of no’s but things take time once I started getting the yes it made it worth it

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a recording artist Rapper Singer Songwriter Producer I’m known for my Hit Single Just Hold On that blew up overseas on TikTok I’m most proud of staying true to myself in my music and just being me sets me apart and I’m not afraid to step in other musically lanes when I rap

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a joyful kid with big dreams and big aspirations I was always different because I thought differently
