Meet Matthew Johnson of Michigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Johnson.

Hi Matthew, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started making Movies in the early 2000’s( high school) mainly, comedy skits. I also, developed a passion for shooting and editing footage. I was awarded by the University of Toledo, for ” high school media day”

Years later, I would make my first short horror film, “The Ultra” while working a season in Yellow stone national park, in 2014. It was selected for five different film festivals and awarded, in 2016 ” best short” by The Indie Gathering International Film Festival in Columbus Ohio,

I’ve went on to make five more Short films over the years, and current working my most ambitious project “Nocturnal Noir” A supernatural Vampire, crime film, starring my returning actor, John Bruske and breakout actress Jamie Zayach

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I feel like I’ve been lucky to finish the films I have, But, time catches up, Jobs and bills get in the way. Never, really had maybe as much help as other filmmakers had, but I’m still lucky.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
