Meet Camilla T. of TWCT

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camilla T..

Hi Camilla, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am someone who has always found joy in creating, but even more than that, I have always been deeply inspired by the world around me. Growing up, travel was a constant part of my life. From living between the United States and Saudi Arabia, to experiencing destinations across Europe, Africa, and beyond, I quickly became conversant with the rhythm of movement and the quiet language of airports.

The warmth of the desert, the intricacies of cultural attire, and the unique interactions between people across the world have left lasting impressions on me. There is something inherently beautiful about the way people connect, even across entirely different environments.

These experiences have come to shape how I see the world, not merely observing new places, but immersing myself within them, taking in the beauty, the nuance, and the distinct character of each culture and environment.

Long before launching TWCT, I began sharing my love of travel, fashion, and storytelling through blogging and social platforms, documenting the places and moments that truly stayed with me and that I hoped to share with others. Over time, I found myself wanting to create something more tangible, something that people could not only see, but hold, experience, and carry with them on their own journeys.

That idea ultimately became TWCT.

From the beginning, I envisioned TWCT as more than a collection of accessories, but as a way to bring together the experiences, memories, and cultural inspirations that shape how we see the world, allowing each piece to feel immersive, meaningful, and something others could connect with and carry into their own lives.

I remain closely involved in shaping every aspect of the brand, from developing each collection to refining the overall experience. It is a process guided by creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to thoughtful design.

My vision for TWCT is to create pieces that feel immersive and meaningful, where each collection invites people into a world of its own and allows them to carry a story with them, one that continues to live on and be shared with a sense of beauty and timelessness.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building TWCT has been a rewarding journey, but like anything creative, it comes with its own learning curve. One of the ongoing challenges has been refining how I bring each vision to life, from developing collections to ensuring that every detail feels intentional and aligned.

As the brand continues to grow, I have become increasingly mindful about the spaces, partnerships, and collaborations I engage in, making sure they reflect the same level of care and vision behind the brand.

At the same time, I genuinely enjoy the process. I love conceptualizing each collection, developing campaign ideas, and bringing together the visual and storytelling elements that make each release feel immersive and distinct. It is a process that continues to evolve, and one I find both challenging and deeply fulfilling.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
TWCT is a design led tech and travel accessories brand offering thoughtfully crafted accessories and essentials inspired by travel, style, and beautiful moments. The brand specializes in creating products that feel both beautiful and refined, blending functionality with a strong sense of aesthetic and storytelling.

What sets TWCT apart is its emphasis on detail, narrative, and personalization. Each collection is developed with a clear concept in mind and is often accompanied by editorial style seasonal magazines, released as part of an ongoing series, including the latest TWCT Summer Market Collection, offering a more immersive way to experience each release. Personalization is also an essential facet of TWCT, with select pieces offering a personalized touch, allowing each item to feel distinctly one’s own. The brand also extends into The TWCT Collective, an exclusive community of women and brand ambassadors who embody the spirit of the brand, designed to offer a more intimate and elevated experience of the TWCT lifestyle through exclusive content, early access, special features, and thoughtfully curated offerings.

TWCT pieces are intended to feel as beautiful as the destinations people find themselves in, complementing the memories and emotions that shape each moment, whether at home or while traveling. They are designed to be beautiful, practical, and fashionable, yet enduringly timeless. Rather than following fast moving trends, TWCT focuses on creating designs and experiences that feel timeless and adaptable across different environments and lifestyles.

As the founder and editor, I oversee the creative direction and development of each collection, its accompanying magazine, and the community, ensuring that every element aligns with the brand’s identity and overall experience.

What I am most proud of is building something that feels cohesive and intentional from concept to execution, while continuing to expand across physical products, digital storytelling, and community.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I have a personal connection to Michigan from my time attending Cranbrook Kingswood, where I had the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship through business clubs and pitching competitions, including one my team went on to win. It was an early experience that sparked my interest in building ideas from the ground up, and a moment that made me realize this was something I was inherently drawn to.
