Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Zayac.
Hi Jamie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started just like everyone else. I had an idea that turned into a dream. I think it’s important to hold that dream in your mind, because every day you should be taking inspired action towards it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been smooth, but I appreciate the ride. I find I learn more in the valleys than I do at the peaks.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an actress in the Midwest! I could say the thing that sets me apart from others is my ability to adapt to any role. I love being able to express and convey a wide variety of characters.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a huge band nerd. I played multiple instruments and stayed after school for jazz band. I loved learning about astrophysics and quantum mechanics (and still do). A shy kid, and though I’m not “shy” anymore, I do tend to keep to myself for the most part. An extroverted introvert, perhaps?
