Today we’d like to introduce you to Halle Sharp.
Hi Halle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom always had a camera in her hands. She documented everything—family vacations, birthdays, holidays, and all the little everyday moments in between. Looking back, those photographs became some of our family’s most treasured memories. Watching her preserve our story sparked something in me, and I quickly developed a love for capturing moments of my own.
That passion followed me into high school, where I received my first professional camera. Before long, friends were asking me to take their senior photos, and I discovered how much I loved not only taking pictures but helping people celebrate important milestones in their lives. What started as a hobby quickly became something much more meaningful.
I was born in Chicago and later attended the University of Michigan, where I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Psychology. While my education taught me so much about people and relationships, photography has always remained close to my heart. It combines creativity, connection, and storytelling in a way that nothing else does.
My husband and I met in high school, and today we’re raising our energetic four-year-old identical twin girls together. They keep life busy, exciting, and full of laughter. Being a mom has deepened my appreciation for photography even more because I understand just how quickly time passes. The little moments that seem ordinary today often become the memories we treasure most tomorrow.
To me, photography is more than taking beautiful pictures—it’s preserving emotions, relationships, and stories. Whether it’s a milestone celebration, a growing family, or simply a season of life you never want to forget, I feel honored to help capture those moments in a way that feels authentic and timeless.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, chasing after my twin girls, or baking something sweet in the kitchen.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have taken 2 breaks throughout my career the first one was while I was finishing my degree of U of M and my second one was my after having my twins. I took a moment to enjoy them and getting settled in our new life.

My business is built on the belief that photographs are more than images—they are memories, emotions, and moments that become part of your story for years to come. I take the responsibility of capturing life’s milestones very seriously because I understand that these are moments you can never recreate. My goal is to preserve them in a way that feels authentic, meaningful, and timeless.
One of the things I’m most known for is capturing the feeling behind a photograph. Anyone can take a picture, but I strive to capture the emotion, connection, and personality that make each moment special. Whether it’s a family session, engagement, senior portraits, or a special celebration, I focus on creating images that bring you right back to that moment whenever you look at them.
Clients often tell me they appreciate how I guide them throughout the session. I take the time to explain what I’m envisioning and help create natural interactions that result in genuine expressions and authentic moments. My goal is never to force a pose, but rather to create an environment where you can feel comfortable, confident, and truly yourself.
One of the things I’m most proud of is building my business completely from the ground up. What started as a passion grew into something much bigger through hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for serving others. Every client who trusts me with their memories is something I never take for granted.
At the heart of my brand is the understanding that photographs become some of our most treasured possessions. Throughout life, there are certain images we return to again and again because they remind us of a person, a season, a feeling, or a moment we never want to forget. I believe everyone deserves to have those meaningful photographs—the ones that instantly transport you back to a special time in your life.
Above all, I want my clients to know that I will always give my best to capture the moments that matter most. My hope is that the images we create together will not only be beautiful today, but will become cherished memories for generations to come.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is my travels to Chicago to my grandmothers house in the summer and being around family all under one roof creating memories .
