Hi Casey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey started about 4.5 years ago when I became a first-time mom and began looking for a better balance between motherhood and meaningful work. At the time, I had already spent around 8 years working in the social work field, where my passion for helping people and supporting growth really developed.

As I transitioned into this new season of life, I wanted to continue using those same strengths—understanding people, building trust, and helping others succeed—but in a way that fit my family life better. That’s what led me to start my own business in social media management, which allowed me to create a healthier work and motherhood balance.

What began as a personal pivot has grown into a business where I now help other businesses tell their stories, connect with their audiences, and grow their online presence. In many ways, I still feel like I’m doing what I’ve always done—helping people—just through a different lens.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes, overall it has been a smooth and very fulfilling journey. It has felt peaceful building something I truly love and turning it into a business that aligns with both my passions and my lifestyle.

Like anything new, there were small learning curves along the way, especially as I figured out how to transition from a traditional career into entrepreneurship. But even those moments felt like part of the growth process rather than real obstacles. I’ve been grateful for the ability to build at a pace that works for my family and to create something that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

My business, Casey Workman VA LLC, is a social media management service built to help small businesses show up consistently and confidently online. I specialize in done-for-you social media management that includes content strategy and planning, caption writing, hashtag research, branded graphics, scheduling and posting, engagement, and monthly insights and reporting.

What I’m known for is taking the stress of social media completely off my clients’ plates while still keeping their brand voice authentic and intentional. My approach is very hands-on and personalized—I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all strategies. Instead, I focus on understanding each business, their goals, and their audience so their content actually reflects who they are and what they offer.

What sets my brand apart is the balance of strategy and heart. With my background in social work, I bring a strong ability to connect, communicate, and understand people, which translates directly into how I help businesses build real relationships with their audience online. I also prioritize consistency, organization, and clarity so my clients can focus on running their business while I handle the visibility and growth side.

I’m most proud of creating a business that allows me to support other entrepreneurs while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance for my family. I want readers to know that my brand is rooted in helping others succeed, simplifying the overwhelming parts of social media, and creating space for business owners to grow with confidence and ease.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that surprises a lot of people is that I am the entire team behind Casey Workman VA LLC. Every piece of work is created and managed by me.

I wear all the hats—from brainstorming content ideas and filming content to creating graphics, writing captions, managing social media accounts, engaging with audiences, and developing analytics reports. Every strategy, post, and client interaction is handled personally.

I think that’s one of the things that makes my business special. My clients aren’t passed between team members or departments; they work directly with me. I take great pride in providing a personalized experience and being deeply invested in each client’s success. Knowing that I’ve built a thriving business while managing every aspect myself is something I’m incredibly proud of.
