Hi Tonae, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
T2collectionz started as my boutique back in 2011, and over the years it slowly grew with me as I discovered new passions within the beauty industry. In 2018, I started doing lashes, which eventually led me to attend esthetician school in 2022 and become a licensed esthetician. That same year, I opened my own suite to create a relaxing self-care experience for my clients. Along with in-person services, I also run my business virtually with worldwide shipping.
The name T2collectionz is very personal to me — “T2” represents 10/22, the day my grandmother passed away, which also happens to be my other grandmother’s birthday. My business carries a lot of meaning, love, and motivation behind it.
Over the past few years, I’ve also been navigating health challenges, so I currently don’t run my business full time. Even so, this business is something I refuse to give up on because it truly feels like my baby. It represents my creativity, passion, resilience, and the dream I continue building despite life’s challenges. ✨
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. In 2023, I experienced a very traumatic situation where a naked man broke the glass at my suite in an attempt to assault my mannequin. As crazy as it sounds, it truly happened, and unfortunately I did lose clients after that experience.
On top of that, I’ve also faced major health challenges. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2014 and later diagnosed with lupus in 2025. Staying motivated to keep my doors open while dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, and unpredictable health issues has honestly been one of the hardest parts of my journey. There have been times where I’ve gone weeks without being able to work because of my health.
Even through all of that, I continue pushing forward because I genuinely love what I do. I sacrifice a lot personally to make sure I can continue providing quality services and using the best products possible for my clients. My business means so much to me, and I’m proud that despite every setback, I’m still here continuing to build it with love and resilience. 💕

T2collectionz is a beauty and self-care brand that focuses on helping clients feel confident in their skin while also creating a safe, relaxing, judgment-free experience. I specialize in acne treatments, hyperpigmentation, and anti-aging skincare, and I also offer Brazilian and underarm waxing services. Along with in-person appointments, I provide virtual skincare consultations with worldwide shipping so I’m able to help clients no matter where they’re located.
One thing that really sets me apart is that I genuinely listen to my clients. I’m not the type to upsell unnecessary products or services just to make money. I focus on what my clients actually need and creating customized experiences that help them feel comfortable, heard, and confident.
I’m also known for my “Glow Girl” approach because my goal is always to have my clients leaving glowing — not just physically, but emotionally too. I want people to feel beautiful, cared for, and relaxed after spending time with me.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is that even through personal hardships and health challenges, I’ve continued building a business rooted in passion, authenticity, and self-care. I want readers to know that T2collectionz is more than beauty services — it’s a space centered around confidence, healing, softness, and real connection. 💕
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I believe resilience is the most important quality behind my success. No matter what challenges I’ve faced personally, professionally, or with my health, I’ve continued finding ways to keep going and keep building my brand. Entrepreneurship is not always easy, and there have been moments where giving up would have been easier, but my passion for what I do keeps me motivated.
I also think authenticity plays a huge role in my success. I genuinely care about my clients, I listen to them, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where people feel comfortable and confident. Being real, compassionate, and consistent with my clients is something I’ll always value in both my business and personal life. 💕
