Today we’d like to introduce you to Brotherly 11.
Brotherly, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi how’s it going im Brotherly, a model, stylist, creative-creative director, and film photography. In the year of 2023, I started modeling and walked in my first fashion show at Michigan State with an organization called N(now)crowd. Led by college students and student designers, a perfect way to get an introduction of modeling and runway walking. After 2023, I started to grow fast interest in fashion, putting clothes on and taking photos of outfits. With fashion growing, I started to do more photoshoots and gain attraction, and then i started to book more shoots. While being on camera, i wanted to start taking photos but i am no photographer. In a creative way, i wanted to photograph film, film was fun and a way to show off creativity. Being a creative allows you to explore multiple different paths, and with years going by and traveling and visiting New York City, I loved fashion and knew more about fashion. While still modeling, shooting film, i began styling within 2025. Starting my own path with putting clothes together and styling them in a unique way. In August of 2024 I started a brand called Livetwice, spray painting clothes in my driveway and styling them and putting them on a runway. Now in 2026, I’ve been styling more and modeling campaigns and painting clothes here and there when i get the chance too. I’ve grown a bunch in the city of Detroit and continue to grow but with the next coming months i look to move to New York City to grow even more and display my talents on a higher level!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I believe no road is smooth and if it is the story isn’t all that. Like Michigan life has potholes, life has ups and downs but with that you have to keep showing up. Some struggles along the way, were wanting fame, wanting money, wanting to be rich, wanting to wake up to a wardrobe full of wishlist clothes. All of that is accessible and can be accomplished but until then, Now we must keep working. Things that i tell myself everyday, bumps and turns but show up everyday and when it all plays out, your story will be remarkable.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a model and creative, I specialize in creating fun unique outfits and modeling. I like to create my own projects, put together cool outfits and hold a knowing for cool outfits full of swag. Being unique in these times is major, not following trends or trying to be something you aren’t, you should just be yourself. I am most proud that I am myself and that I do things for my enjoyment and not for others. I set myself apart from others because of how I carry myself and live everyday like it’s the last.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I think risk-taking is needed, taking risks is very risky but it’s needed in life. Without Risks, some things in life wouldn’t be unknown. Taking a risks, and having a good outcome allows you to be more confident and take more risks. My biggest risks will be moving to New York, but I have to take this risks because if I don’t I’ll live with regret.
