Meet Hailey Zoccoli of Magical Melodies LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Zoccoli.

Hi Hailey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
A Garden City, MI native, I’ve always had a passion for teaching and performing. I attended Western Michigan University and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education with a minor in Secondary Education: Mathematics. While in college, I kept my love of performing alive by working parties/events as a princess performer for Once Upon a Princess and acting with the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. My dream role was working in entertainment at Walt Disney World through the Disney College Program where I made magic in parades, shows, and meet and greets! Upon graduation, I joined the touring cast of the world’s only rock & roll nutrition show, Jump with Jill. Starring as “Jill”, I empowered elementary students to make healthy choices for themselves through music and dance, personally performing 400 shows for over 171,000 kids across four countries. I relocated to Pittsburgh in 2014 and became the Director of Operations for Jump with Jill, handling tour logistics and working with schools to book the live show.

In 2020, I became a mother. Navigating pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum during a pandemic (while the rest of our family was in Michigan) was definitely not what I had envisioned for my first time as a mom. I had a hard time entering back into “normal life” and shaking off that post-partum fog. Then in 2022, Kindermusik Educator and Owner of KCB Studios, Christa Beck invited my son and I to a Kindermusik class and it changed my life. Finally, I was in a safe environment where I could be with other mothers and bond with my baby through music and meaningful interaction. Kindermusik class became a bright spot in our week that I always looked forward to. I had my second child in 2023 and once again, Kindermusik was there as built in one-on-one, special time with my son each week.

In 2024, Christa asked if I would be interested in teaching Kindermusik. I was hesitant because we had been trying to relocate back to Michigan and if the right opportunity arose, we were going to take it. She was willing to work with me for as little or as long as we were still in Pennsylvania, and everyday I am so glad she took a chance on me. I became a Fully Accredited Kindermusik Educator the summer of 2024 and taught for Christa for six months before moving back to Michigan. I was ecstatic to finally have an outlet for my passion again, but now I needed to find a space to use it! With Christa’s help, we emailed around to some churches to see if any were interested in hosting a Kindermusik program and had no luck there. Then one day, the program registration guide for the Sterling Heights Community Center showed up in my mailbox and I noticed they did not have any music programs. I sent an email, called right away, and set up a meeting to pitch my Kindermusik program. We got the greenlight to put it on the fall roster. I started out with 3 students in my infant class and 10 in my toddler class. Shortly after the fall semester started, we got a message from Berkley Community Center saying they were interested in starting a Kindermusik program. A second location was the catalyst we needed to start my own business. I would not have been able to get the program off the ground in Michigan without Christa’s help and guidance. I created Magical Melodies LLC in November 2025. I wanted a name that would work for my Kindermusik program, but that could also allow for character entertainment opportunities down the road.

As of January 2026, Magical Melodies – Kindermusik is now in three locations: Sterling Heights Community Center, Berkley Community Center, and We Rock The Spectrum Kids Gym – Troy/Clawson. I am ecstatic that I get to once again combine my love of teaching and singing to bring magical, musical moments to families across my community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I am trying to improve upon advertising/marketing my different programs. My Level 1 infant classes continue to grow, but my Level 2 toddler classes could use a little work to get a few more families enrolled. I have to continually remind myself that I am still only in my first six months of running a small business and great things take time to build. Each month, I reflect on my strategy, what worked, what didn’t work, and make changes as needed.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Magical Melodies LLC?
At present, Magical Melodies’ main offering is Kindermusik classes for young children and their caregivers. “Kindermusik is a powerful early learning experience centered around shared music-making. Our research-based curricula feature developmentally-appropriate songs, instruments, stories, and movement activities that help children meet and exceed developmental milestones in any learning environment” (Kindermusik International). As an accredited educator, it is my job to help facilitate these wonderful brain-boosting, bonding moments during my classes. Although I have only been teaching Kindermusik for two years, I have been educating and inspiring children for the last twenty years, and truly feel this is exactly where I was supposed to end up.

Coming soon, I am hoping to roll out the character entertainment side of Magical Melodies specializing in princess parties and special events.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Find the people you resonate with! I have found the most success when I am collaborating with like minded people.
