Community Highlights: Meet Andrew George of Graffiti Supply Co

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew George.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Graffiti Supply Co. was built on the belief that business should be authentic, independent, and rooted in community. We first made our name through promotional products and packaging, growing by earning trust with creativity, reliability, and fair prices. That success gave us the foundation to dream bigger and stay true to our values: being pro-local, collaborative, inclusive, and proudly anti-corporate.

Opening our own retail storefront was always a dream — a space built around our Graffiti brand, vibe, and theme, rather than just focusing on our clients’ branding. It’s a hub for our streetwear and creative vision, while still allowing us to serve the businesses and partners who helped us grow. Today, Graffiti Supply Co. is both: a trusted promotional products, apparel and packaging supplier and a community brand where art, independence, and collaboration come together.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but the obstacles shaped who we are. Starting out with limited resources meant we had to get creative and work harder than most to compete. Building reliable supply chains, balancing rising material costs, and keeping up with demand were all real challenges — but each one pushed us to become stronger and more efficient.

We’ve also had to prove ourselves in a space where trust and consistency matter more than anything. That meant showing up every time, no excuses, and standing behind our word. Those pressures weren’t easy, but they made us sharper and built the reputation we have today: dependable, authentic, and connected to the community we serve.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Graffiti Supply Co. is both a creative supplier and a streetwear brand. On one side, we specialize in high-quality promotional products, packaging, and custom gear — the behind-the-scenes work that helps other businesses stand out. On the other, we’ve built our own retail storefront, which is centered around our graffiti-inspired vibe, brand, and community.

What sets us apart is that we’re not just a print shop or a clothing line. We’re rooted in culture and values. Led by co-owners who identify as minorities — one Black and the other LGBTQ+ — we bring diverse perspectives that shape everything we do. Inclusivity, authenticity, and supporting underrepresented voices aren’t just part of our story, they’re at the heart of our mission.

Brand-wise, we’re most proud of creating something people truly connect with — whether that’s a local business trusting us with their packaging, or someone walking into our store and finding a piece of streetwear that feels like it was made for them. Graffiti Supply Co. is more than products — it’s a reflection of creativity, collaboration, and community.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising about us is how much we’ve been involved outside of business. I served as chair of the Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority for eight years, helping shape the future of our city, and I also founded the first-ever Three Rivers PRIDE. Both Jalyn and I are accomplished musicians, and that creativity spills over into the culture and energy we bring into Graffiti Supply Co.

Most people see us as a print and retail brand, but our roots are in community building, music, and art. That’s why our work doesn’t just focus on products — it’s about creating spaces, culture, and connections that last.
