Exploring Life & Business with Libby Rapin of Libby Rapin L.L.C.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Libby Rapin.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into entrepreneurship began, like many spiritual awakenings do, quietly, then all at once. A series of what I lovingly call existential crises cracked me open. I was climbing the corporate ladder in high-tech, ‘living the dream’ in downtown Chicago, yet working 60+ hour weeks, saying yes when I meant no and carrying the emotional weight of entire teams on my shoulders. Eventually, that pace caught up with me. Burnout turned into an autoimmune diagnosis, which came with a wave of physical symptoms that forced me to stop pretending I was fine. It was the first time I heard my body speak louder than my ambition.

During this chapter, I was introduced to the mind-body connection and everything clicked. I began to understand how years of chronic stress, sleepless nights, people-pleasing and pushing past my limits had manifested as physical ‘dis-ease’. Meditation became my lifeline I didn’t know I needed and It reconnected me to myself in a way I hadn’t experienced maybe ever.

That reconnection changed me so profoundly that I made the boldest decision of my life: I left my corporate career and traveled for nine months. I gave myself space to breathe, regulate my nervous system and unbecome the version of myself that had been built on survival.

Somewhere between airports, oceans and long stretches of stillness, my business was born.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Has it been a smooth road? Not exactly, but it’s been profoundly rich with lessons. This journey of entrepreneurship has been one of trust, faith and learning to navigate the unknown. I’ve learned that there’s no such thing as failure and that everything is happening for us, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment.

One of the biggest lessons has been finding the balance between intuition and logic. Along the way, I’ve discovered that energy work (something most entrepreneurs overlook) is actually one of the most powerful tools for aligned decision-making and forward momentum.

Of course, there have been mindset blocks, moments where fear or doubt that tried to hold me back. Working through these has brought some of the most profound shifts in both my business and my life. Today, I see that this inner work, like learning to manage your energy, clear limiting beliefs and trusting yourself, as not just optional, but the foundation for sustainable success and fulfillment.

The beautiful part is that all of these lessons from trusting my intuition, balancing logic, working through mindset blocks and honoring my energy aren’t just for me anymore. I now get to hold space for clients as they navigate the same challenges, guiding them to move through fear, step into their power and create a life and business that actually feels aligned.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Initially, my work focused on mindfulness training and meditation programs for corporate teams. As I deepened my own healing journey and supported others, it became undeniably clear that people craved lasting transformation, not just stress relief. They sought to heal patterns of burnout and overwhelm, enabling them to rest without guilt, disconnect from work and actually close their laptops at 5 PM and on weekends and still achieve success that feels as good as it looks.
This realization led my work to evolve into high-touch 1:1 coaching and conscious living guidance. I now blend meditation, mind-body medicine, leadership development and energy work, creating profound shifts in how clients feel, lead, live and make decisions.

Today, I specialize in helping high-achieving women juggling heavy responsibilities at work and home to move out of burnout and overwhelm and into grounded confidence, emotional freedom and deep self-trust. I guide them to regulate their nervous systems, access their intuition and dismantle the patterns that hold them back. At the heart of my mission is the belief that each person is their own medicine and that everything changes the moment you turn inward.

Through my 1:1 coaching, learning programs and retreats, I help women create meaningful change through sacred awareness, energy mastery and ritual. This includes simple yet profound practices, such as:
1.) Ten minutes of meditation before bed to reset the nervous system.
2.) Daily journaling to process emotions and gain clarity.
3.) Pausing between meetings to breathe or taking a three-minute pause before saying “yes” to anything.

Ultimately, I help my clients:
1.) Stop overthinking every decision to avoid disappointing someone else.
2.) Start listening to the deep feeling in their gut that says to say NO because taking on that new project means they will have to work 60+ hours a week for the next month.
3.) Stop answering emails at midnight or jumping into urgent requests at 6 PM on a Friday that aren’t even theirs to solve in the first place.
4.) Stop sacrificing family meals, workouts or downtime to prove their worth.
5.) Stop over-explaining themselves in meetings or bending over backward to manage everyone else’s emotions.

In doing so, they move from exhaustion to empowerment, from overwhelm to alignment and from self-abandonment to self-trust.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on my journey is this: I am my own medicine.

For a long time, I looked outside myself for answers and ran to teachers, strategies, books, certifications, anything that promised clarity or relief. The real transformation began when I realized that true healing doesn’t come from someone handing you a formula. It comes from within when you learn to master your own energy, honor your body and spirit with sacred ritual, and choose presence, authenticity and love in the moments where your old patterns would have pulled you into stress or self-doubt.

Being your own medicine means recognizing that your inner wisdom is the ultimate guide. That your choices [how you breathe, how you set boundaries, how you speak to yourself, how you rest] are the catalysts for your emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing. When you shift from outsourcing your power to embodying it, everything changes.

The result of that inner mastery is profound. You’re no longer hijacked by deadlines, drama or other people’s expectations. You’re able to pause, breathe and respond with intention, grounded, centered and unshakeable, even in high-pressure moments.

That is the essence of the medicine within: the ability to return to yourself, again and again, and lead your life from a place of sovereignty and truth.
