Hi Nandita, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
The idea for our place took foundation when we started teaching in various locations about 5 years back. Visiting various dance studios around town, teaching in various locations across the Metro Detroit area and at various festivals, we sensed and realized the division that existed between the cultures and the styles, or the mindset of a Dance Studio versus just a space to dance, was huge. Our value proposition is to break the mold, we want to exist in a cohesive environment instead of behind a wall, we are hoping to put the love of the arts and culture out there, bringing in people to be comfortable, and feel successful even if its their first time trying it, making sure age is not a factor and neither is your background. We want to fill the void created by the suspension of some the cultural aspects through regular education at the school level. We want to bring people together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The struggles of a new micro business and that too Arts based were not easy when we opened doors in 2017, and as we were finding our footing and carving our niche, the added stress of Covid in 2020 derailed a lot of the plans and programs.

Dancing with my trainer/teacher as a 5 year old. Dancing and practicing and feeling challenged. teh doors kept opening to learning to sing and inculcating a love for dance music and arts… utilizing those be an animated theatrical your child 🙂
