Today we’d like to introduce you to Savannah Dixon.
Hi Savannah , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Savannah Dixon, and I am an Occupational Therapist with five years of experience, currently serving as a full-time outpatient therapist and clinic manager in Battle Creek, MI. Two years ago, I became a Certified Lymphedema and Wound Care Therapist—and that is where I found my true niche and passion.
After being approached by many individuals seeking wellness-based lymphatic services, I decided to take the next step and launch my own LLC: FlowSavvy.
FlowSavvy is designed to bridge the gap between wellness and early intervention. I provide early lymphatic screenings, helping clients identify concerns sooner with connections to resources and potentially reduce long-term medical costs. With my background in and speciality in compression wear, I can also offer informed recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
I understand that some individuals who benefit most from lymphatic services may have difficulty traveling, so I proudly offer mobile services to ensure access for all.
Everyone deserves a quality of life—and together, we can make that happen.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This LLC marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for me. While I already provide lymphedema treatment to many individuals in my outpatient clinic, FlowSavvy allows me to expand my reach and support clients who are seeking wellness-focused lymphatic care, gentle detoxification, and proactive health maintenance. I’m looking forward to bringing clinical skill into a supportive, wellness-centered space.
We’ve been impressed with FlowSavvy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
FlowSavvy is a cash-based service, giving clients direct, immediate access to high-quality lymphatic care without long waitlists or insurance barriers. What truly sets FlowSavvy apart is that services are provided by a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT)—a credential that requires intensive, hands-on training, in-depth coursework, and rigorous competency demonstrations.
In most medical settings, gaining access to a certified lymphedema therapist can take three to six months, delaying care and prolonging discomfort. With FlowSavvy, clients can receive expert-level support right away. I currently offer by appointment only on the weekends.
Many providers offering “lymphatic services” have completed only short weekend courses. While those courses introduce basic concepts, they do not provide the extensive medical knowledge, clinical decision-making, or advanced skill set obtained through full lymphedema certification.
FlowSavvy bridges that gap—offering true clinical expertise in a wellness setting, with a focus on safe, effective lymphatic support tailored to each client’s needs.
How do you think about luck?
I haven’t faced challenges with FlowSavvy itself—my focus has simply been on bringing greater awareness to the many diagnoses and conditions that can benefit from lymphatic care, as well as educating the general public. So many people are living with symptoms they don’t realize are connected to their lymphatic system. FlowSavvy exists to close that knowledge gap and make high-quality lymphatic support more accessible.
