Meet Anna Skelton of Organizing By Anna

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Skelton.

Hi Anna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started organizing part time on the weekends to save up for my weddings (me and my husband have had three). I have always been organized and mostly did it for family and friends. As I started advertising myself I just knew this is what I should have been doing my whole life.

Little bit about me and why me and my husband had three weddings, my now husband and I got engaged during Covid and we were unable to travel to India (where my husband is from). We celebrated our marriage with a Hindu wedding and an American Wedding the summer of 2022 in the states and then traveled to India to have a wedding reception in India in 2024.

I worked in corporate world all of my adult life and I was pretty happy with where I was at. But I knew this was not my passion. Creating an organized space really makes sense to me. As of this past September I have officially left corporate world and am organizing full time. It has been wonderful and I cannot wait every day to start a new organizing project.

My organizing is unique to most professional organizers I truly get to know my clients. I try to understand their every day to really give them a system that is manageable and makes sense to them.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think the biggest struggle for me was making the jump from corporate world to being a business owner full time. I should have made the jump sooner but I am truly loving every second of it and taking it one step at a time.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m Anna Skelton, the professional organizer and owner of Organizing by Anna. I have a passion for organizing and decluttering houses, rooms, garages, businesses, you name it!

I am here to organize any space big or small!

I enjoy creating spaces that my clients have always imagined – as well as creating systems that everyone in the family find easy to follow. My goal is simple: to create a space that gives you peace of mind and everything has a home (that works for your everyday life).

No matter how out of control you think things may be, my goal is to meet you where you are – no judgement. I’m here to have an honest conversation about your space. It’s important for me to understand what your hopes and aspirations are for the space. By working together we will declutter, renew and discard.

Living an organized life is easy once you have a firm understanding about what works and doesn’t work with your family.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My husband (Ajay) and family (Mom and Dad (Rick and Linda) and Siblings (Christina, Dana, and Em)). definitely deserve credit. They have always been on my team and cheered me on. And really were instrumental in me going full time with organizing.
