My career began nearly 17 years ago at a prestigious Northern Michigan spa, where I became the lead bridal makeup artist and immersed myself in all things beauty—from makeup and hair to advanced facials and body treatments. I earned dual certification in airbrush artistry and received extensive training in clinical-grade skincare, which allowed me to create flawless looks while truly understanding and caring for the skin beneath.
After a decade of refining my craft, I recognized a growing demand for a more elevated, boutique-style bridal experience in our area. I decided to launch my own on-site luxury makeup business, bringing high-end, dermatology-backed products and a deeply personalized approach directly to my clients.

For the most part, my journey has been incredibly smooth—I truly love what I do, and I pour my heart into every single bride I work with. When you’re passionate about your craft, the long hours and busy seasons feel effortless.
The only real challenge has been perfecting the organization and transportation of my professional kit. With so many products and tools—especially the medical-grade, luxury lines I use—finding a setup that balances efficiency, aesthetics, and personalization has been a process. There are countless makeup cases on the market, but none are perfectly tailored to the way I work. Refining that system has taken time, but it’s also pushed me to curate a kit that’s truly elevated and entirely my own

I specialize in luxury, on-site bridal makeup with a deep focus on skin health, elegance, and an effortless, elevated finish. I’m known for creating looks that are both flawless and incredibly comfortable to wear—beauty that photographs beautifully and lasts from ‘I do’ to the last dance.
What I’m most proud of is the one-on-one connection I build with each bride. I take the time to understand their vision, their personality, and their comfort level, and many of those relationships continue long after the wedding day. Seeing my work beautifully photographed and knowing I helped someone feel their most confident is truly the best part of my career.
What sets me apart is the combination of my streamlined, luxury kit; my meticulous attention to detail; and my calm, grounded energy. I’m very laid-back and intuitive, and I have a natural way of keeping brides relaxed during those final, emotional moments before they walk down the aisle. It’s not just about makeup—it’s about creating an experience that feels elevated, effortless, and calming from start to finish
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is going thrifting with my grandma. We would spend hours searching through shelves and bins, finding pieces that others might overlook, and imagining what they could become. I loved the transformation, seeing the ‘before’ and envisioning the potential for an ‘after.’
That experience shaped the way I approach my work as a bridal makeup artist. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of bringing out hidden beauty, elevating what’s already there, and creating something meaningful out of small details. Just like thrifting, bridal makeup is about discovery, transformation, and honoring the story behind each person. I love taking what’s naturally unique about every bride and helping her feel like her most beautiful, confident self.
