Today we’d like to introduce you to Harriette Brown.
Hi Harriette , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
” On the surface my company does Disruptive Food Service, But what we really do is WageWarWithAFork ”
° The idea for my business grew from outreach ministry and the love for feeding people. It struck me that a difference could be made starting with me. After offering friends, family, and others a way to eat foods they love with different dietary issues. I experienced several health issues my customers suffered from. I after surgery healed myself using a fork and a few good choices. I then felt compelled to share that with others . We choose to improve the quality of lives & strengthen communities by offering Healthy Convenience believing everyone should have the opportunity to Eat Good and Be Well. This is the Mission. To consider one another and do no Harm.
° What do I do? I share the Flavor of Love.
° Our solution is mobility. By being mobile we reach the unreachable. This flexibility allows us room to pivot and offers a route to sustainability as well.
We created and follow a circular model of food pathways.
° My belief is that together we sustain each other. My life’s model is wrapped up in the statement. “Let us consider one another unto Love and Good works”
° What I want to impress upon the people is together we leave the legacy of Love. And carry the narrative further each time we share that on a plate, in a dish, with each recipe we explore. It is designed with you in mind.
° What I LOVE most about my work is the joy in connection. Sharing food prepared from the Heart with the soul in mind , crosses culture , economic status , race even religion. It tears down all barriers and brings us together one bite at a time.
We become a village of inclusion bound by that love. These are
My inspirations.
My whys! My way of #WagingWarWithAFork
I am ChefBee
It is always my pleasure to serve you.
Sisters On A Roll Mobile Cafe.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Never has it been a smooth road. It’s like walking in nature. The hidden spots , twists and turns always make the adventure better.
Our biggest struggle is capital to expand the model we have worked so diligently to create. We could fight food insecurity, build scalable models that can benefit neighborhoods in different areas and have sustainable products and projects that can be the foundation for others to follow. Second to this is currently the need for Dry goods, grains, canned goods and especially steel cut oats and vital wheat gluten for meat replacement. Disposable pans and lids for distribution are welcomed.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a culinary alchemist. I am also a traveling Chef.
I develop recipes according to the needs of my clients and others. I specialize in vegan fare of all kinds and scratch cooking halal & hebraic offerings. I am known for my vegan wingz, famous mac and award-winning greens.
I am most proud of our mission to serve through food sharing and have not missed a feed in 12 years.
What sets me apart from others is l do all things in love. It covers my life, it is present in my food , it is the gift l give away .
What’s next?
Building out this circular food pathway model. (Mentors & Funding) welcomed.
Having someone bless us with a mobile food unit. Ideally a military one so that we’ll be Detroits 1st disaster relief unit.
And consulting with others to carry this model state to state.
