Today we’d like to introduce you to Carol Giba.
Hi Carol, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As a mom of 3 boys I knew I needed to be active and in shape to keep up with their activities and demands; however that wasn’t the case for a long time. I was overweight and did not have the energy to keep up with them everyday. I decided one day after working long hours that something needed to change in my life as I wasn’t happy with the way I was feeling and looking at the time. I decided to hire a personal trainer after trying to do the whole gym thing on my own and didn’t feel like I was succeeding like I wanted to. After working with my trainer for a while and then continuing to make the whole gym/fitness/nutrition thing a consistent priority I realized that I want to help others who may be feeling the same way as I did. I then took on the task of acquiring my Personal Training Certificate and started at a big box gym as a trainer. I did that for a couple years when I knew I wanted more for myself. I then got to work on a business plan and finding a partner who ultimately helped me find and purchase my current gym space.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely Not! My space was a franchise gym when I purchased it; however, I chose not to keep the franchise name so that was the first obstacle that nobody knew who or what Goal 2 Goal Fitness was. Even though there were members when I purchased it some decided it wasn’t for them and others decided to try out other places. Also implementing a new workout structure was challenging in and of itself as well. I knew I wanted to spread the word of just how important Strength Training is for Women and that I wanted to showcase that so we have since started a Womens Only Small Group Training program which is so much fun not just for them but for myself as well as it allows me to challenge them and watch them grow

We’re known for our Small Group Personal Training (SGPT) model, which combines the attention and customization of 1:1 training with the energy and accountability of a group setting. Every program includes structured strength training, personalized nutrition guidance, and access to recovery tools — because transformation doesn’t stop at the workout. We take a holistic approach, meeting clients where they are and helping them build strength, confidence, and consistency that lasts.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was very outgoing and played some sports like Basketball and Shot Put/Discus. I always enjoyed going on hikes and being around nature and animals.
