Today we’d like to introduce you to Darrell Woods.
Hi Darrell, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My Wife and I journey began with the birth of our two children, Deanja and Dakorray.
Our Love for the both of them was and still is unmeasurable! Which ultimately led to Us working as hard as we could to provide a life for the both of them that well exceeded anything my wife and I were accustom too!
So,
as years would pass by, I often found myself wondering how I could ensure that the both of them (Deanja and Dakorray) would always remain connected full of love and grace for one another no matter their geographic locations. That’s when it hit me, with the uniqueness of each name to try and integrate both names to create one brand that represents GOD, Love, Family, with Unity and Purpose. With that DEANDAKOR (Dee-An-Da-Core) was Born.
Today I am currently pushing with passion and purpose to successfully launch DEANDAKOR the clothing brand. A brand that represents everything respectfully and morally that My Wife and I stand for and have instilled in both of our children with hopes of changing the world one wear at a time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve learned that when it’s seemed to be going smooth it’s typically a great sign that something was missing and adjustments were needed. Some examples of the struggle were and still are,
Self-Educating, Marketing, Product control to ensure the highest quality as possible, Branding and Communicating with Love over People subjective thoughts and negative narratives and, trying to always remember and stand on Changing the world one wear at a time.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well for the most part I’ve been a jack of all of trades but in recent years I have been blessed to work in the agriculture industry for over a decade plus. As for what I may specialize in, I would have to say relationships with people. I love diving into different dialogues with individuals, I believe it’s the core and root to the beginning process of sharing love and showing grace for one another. Ultimately that’s what I’m mostly proud of! As well as believing this is what sets Myself and the brand apart from others.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
A Relationship with GOD, while embracing Health, Wellness, Provision Peace and Prosperity!
