Conversations with Amy Larsen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Larsen.

Hi Amy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Since opening in 1999, Your Plate or Mine Pottery Studio have offered a family friendly paint your own pottery experience to our local and visiting community and surrounding areas. We have added additional creative experiences to our studio including art and canvas classes as well at clay and wheel classes. We strive to provide a creative space for individuals and families to learn and experience art in many forms.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
All of our employees have a love for art, and we strive to include their personal artistic interests in our business. While we primarily offer DIY pottery painting, we also offer resin earring classes, canvas painting classes, and beginner clay wheel classes – all based on the personal interests of our employees! We really put the ‘art’ in ‘heart’!

We are most proud of the longevity of Your Plate or Mine in the local community. We often see parents come in with their kids who tell us THEY were brought into the studio by THEIR parents. We love seeing multiple generations of a family come together in our studio to paint and make memories!
