Meet Patricia Galea of Genesee County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patricia Galea.

Hi Patricia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Savory Sisters began as a family project—just me and my daughters spending time together with our extended family and friends, creating and having fun. I had always dreamed of doing something like this, and I was tired of just thinking about it. On New Year’s Eve 2025, I prayed that if this was God’s plan for me, doors would open and opportunities would appear—and they did! When I shared this “crazy” idea with my daughters, they didn’t hesitate—they were all in! What started as a fun side hustle to support my daughters and their growing families quickly became something much more. The thought of making art out of food and earning a living doing it was exciting. Today, it’s a true passion for us: crafting beautiful, delicious charcuterie and creating a unique experience that brings joy and makes every celebration unforgettable.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Surprisingly, things have gone very smoothly! Along the way, we’ve met so many amazing, supportive people who’ve been incredibly gracious and encouraging. Their kindness has made this journey so much more exciting than we could have ever imagined.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I think we’re most known for our attention to detail, presentation, and the personal touch we bring to every order—we work hard at making our displays as visually appealing as they are delicious.

What sets us apart is our charcuterie cart. It’s a fun, interactive way for guests to enjoy our edible creations while also mingling and enjoying the event. The most common compliment we receive from our customers is about the personal touches we add and the uniqueness of the cart itself. We take pride in making each experience feel special, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large celebration. The thing we’re most proud of is the joy and connection our food brings—seeing guests delight in our boards, and knowing we’ve created something memorable for them, is truly rewarding.

How do you define success?
We each have our own way of defining success, but we all agree that seeing our customers happy is what truly matters. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a bride and groom smile when they see their names and a meaningful quote on the ribbon of our boards, or seeing a mom’s face light up when her child’s first birthday theme comes to life on our personalized charcuterie cups. Those moments are what make everything we do worthwhile.
