Exploring Life & Business with Aysia Johnson of AK Social Media

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aysia Johnson.

Hi Aysia , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started AK Social with a vision bigger than just creating pretty brands. I wanted to transform the way CEOs, founders, and visionaries show up in the digital world. My journey began with a simple truth: I’ve always had an eye for storytelling and strategy. What started as helping people polish their social media quickly grew into building complete brand ecosystems that position leaders as category-defining authorities.

But it hasn’t been easy. I built this agency as a young mom, learning how to balance building a legacy for my daughter while navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Every challenge sharpened my resilience, and every setback became part of the blueprint I now use to help clients build brands that don’t just look good, but actually generate impact and income.

Today, AK Social is known for turning bold ideas into powerful brands that attract opportunities, partnerships, and revenue. What drives me is legacy — proving that you can build something iconic from the ground up and opening doors for the next generation. My story is still being written, but one thing is clear: I’m building a movement.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has definitely not been smooth. Building an agency while raising a daughter meant I had to learn how to balance entrepreneurship and motherhood without a playbook. There were seasons where resources were tight, where I felt the weight of doubt, and where I had to push through moments of burnout and uncertainty.

One of the biggest challenges was learning how to position myself as a true authority in an industry that often undervalues women and creatives. I had to stop playing small, raise my rates, and believe that the right clients would meet me at my worth. That shift didn’t happen overnight. It came from trial, error, and a lot of resilience.

Those challenges shaped me into the strategist I am today. They taught me that setbacks are not signs to quit, but invitations to grow stronger. Every obstacle forced me to refine my systems, my vision, and my voice — and that’s exactly what allows me to help my clients do the same.

As you know, we’re big fans of AK Social Media . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
AK Social Media is more than an agency, we’re a personal branding powerhouse. We specialize in transforming CEOs, founders, and executives into category-defining leaders through strategy, identity, and execution. Our signature approach combines brand strategy, creative design, website development, and brand management into full ecosystems that not only look elevated but also drive measurable ROI.

What sets us apart is how deeply we embed ourselves into our clients’ vision. We build brands that command authority, attract high-level opportunities, and leave lasting impact. Our clients trust us because we bring clarity, creativity, and strategy under one roof, making us the go-to partner for leaders who want to be unforgettable in their industries.

I’m most proud of the fact that AK Social has become known as the place where visionaries come to scale their presence and legacy. From brand transformations that 5x client revenue to building digital ecosystems that free up CEOs to lead, every win proves that we’re not just creating brands — we’re changing lives.

If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: AK Social is the agency for leaders who are ready to stop blending in and start owning their power. We help you become the obvious choice in your market — and we do it with precision, style, and strategy.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that mentorship isn’t always about finding someone who looks like the “perfect” version of where you want to be. Sometimes it’s about learning from people in pieces — the strategist who sharpens your vision, the leader who models resilience, the creative who inspires you to think bigger.

My advice is to be bold about putting yourself in the rooms where the conversations are happening. Networking has worked best for me when I led with value first. Showing up as someone who can contribute, not just someone looking to take. That energy naturally attracts the right relationships.

Most importantly, don’t wait for the “perfect mentor” to appear. Seek out coaches, communities, and even peers who challenge you to grow. Every connection can be a form of mentorship if you stay open, curious, and willing to apply what you learn.
