Cynatt Hussein shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Cynatt, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
For me, it’s energy. I see energy kind of like your aura — it’s the vibe you put out before you even say a word. It’s what people feel when they’re in the same room with you, sometimes even before they really know you. That energy matters because it shapes how people connect with you on a deeper level.
What I feel makes me stand out is that my energy isn’t one-dimensional. I can be soft, goofy, private, or in full boss mode — and people feel all of that. It’s this mix that creates a presence that’s magnetic and real. Of course, that energy only works because it’s grounded in my intelligence and integrity. So, energy is the way I show up, but it’s always backed by who I am and what I stand for.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Cynatt, I’ve been a Nail Tech for about five years, but more than that, I’m a nail artist — I create custom pieces that help people express themselves and feel confident. Outside of that, I’m also a nanny, which is something I take a lot of pride in and really enjoy.
I’m just your average girl who loves to stay active, dive into a good book, and chill with my friends.
Right now, I’m focused on growing my business and working toward expanding into product lines, so there’s a lot to be excited about.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationships I’ve built with the kids I’ve nannied have shaped me in ways I never expected. Kids are raw, honest, and unapologetically themselves—they don’t hide, and they don’t overthink. Being around that has taught me to let go of fear, embrace my own authenticity, and simply be—to find joy in the small moments. In return, I get to nurture their confidence and imagination, and somehow, they teach me too—reminding me to trust myself, to stay playful, and to honor the child within me. They’ve shown me that being kind, open, and fully present is one of the truest ways to live, and it’s a gift I carry with me every day.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could speak to my younger self, I would say: trust yourself, honor your heart, and never doubt your worth. I struggled with confidence and feeling accepted, and often people misunderstood me as mean when I was really just anxious and quiet. I wish I had known back then that my curiosity, sensitivity, and kindness were strengths, not flaws. Being a nanny has allowed me to relive those parts of my childhood in beautiful ways, to nurture kids’ confidence, curiosity, and kindness, and in turn, it has helped me fully embrace my own. That growth doesn’t just shape me—it helps my work thrive too. If I could tell that little me anything, it would be to trust herself, honor her heart, and know she’s already enough—always.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say what matters most to me is how we treat others. I care deeply about kindness, intention, and empathy—no matter who someone is or what they’re going through. I take pride in treating everyone I meet with respect and compassion, and I hope to inspire others to do the same. Whether in my personal life or as a business owner, how we show up for people is everything to me.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yes. I believe that true discipline means showing up and giving your best, even when no one is there to acknowledge it. For me, it’s never been about seeking validation from others — it’s about living a life that I can be proud of. Everything I do, I do with the intention of becoming better, growing stronger, and building a future that reflects my own standards, not someone else’s.
I push myself in rooms where no one is watching, because integrity isn’t measured by applause — it’s measured by effort. Discipline is choosing to give your all regardless of the audience, and motivation is knowing that the reward is in the growth itself. Whether or not anyone notices, I go all out, because at the end of the day, it’s not about them. It’s about me, my values, and the life I’m creating.
