Hi Taline, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
“I was born in Jerusalem, Isreal as an Armenian, before immigrating to USA, and as a single mother, my journey hasn’t always been easy. My strong faith really carried me through some of the toughest times—like when my former employer shut down my business by holding me to a non-compete contract. Not long after, I was fired in the middle of COVID-19.
But instead of letting that stop me, I used it as motivation. I held onto my positivity, leaned on my faith, and decided to finally bring my dream to life. That’s how Taline’s Fine Jewelry was born.
We started small, right in Downtown Howell, with a focus on creating meaningful pieces and lasting relationships. Today, we’ve grown into a place where people come not just to buy jewelry, but to celebrate life’s most important moments. For me, it’s been a journey of resilience, faith, and passion—and I think that’s what makes Taline’s Fine Jewelry so special.”

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all. As a single mother, I’ve faced may share of challenges. One of the hardest moments was when I was fired during Covid 19 Pandemic and my ex-employer held me to the non-compete contract. It was such an uncertain and scary time-I had a child to take care of, bills to pay and the world felt like it was standing still.
What kept me going was my faith. I held onto it tightly, and it gave me the strength to stay positive when everything around me felt overwhelming. Out of those struggles, I found the courage to finally start Taline’s Fine Jewelry.
So, while the wasn’t smooth, every hardship shaped me into who I am today. And I think that resilience, that faith, and the love for my family and community are what make this business so special.

I’ve always believed that jewelry is more than just an accessory-it carries meaning, memories, and stories that last for generations. With that in mind I wanted to bring both timeless pieces and modern, custom designs to our community.
I also wanted to make sure everyone’s budget was taken into consideration.
When we first started, the focus was on building trust and creating lasting relationships with our customer by offering high-quality craftmanship and personalized services. Over time, we’ve grown from being a small, local jewelry store into a recognized destination for engagement rings, fine jewelry, custom-made pieces and Swiss Made Timepieces.
