Hi Diane, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey started when I participated in hair shows with my two brothers, John and James Gooden. I would make clothes and dress the models for them. I developed a clientele and began making special occasion garments, birthday outfits, wedding gowns, prom dresses and ect. My work was featured in various magazines and I participated in many fashion shows over the years. These are some of the details about my start as a Fashion Designer.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been good. There are some exceptions and challenges, like finding dedicated and reliable assistants to work along side with you.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Fashion Designer and I specialize in formal wear. I’m known for creating high fashion Couture wear. I’m most proud of my ability to give my clients what they want. I’m also proud of all of my accomplishments. What sets me apart from others is my ability to create my own one of a kind designs. My signature looks and designs set trends.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is my family. My husband is my back bone and he’s always there for me.There is no happiness without God in your life.
