Hi Mary, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Photography became a passion of mine at a young age. I would snap photos nonstop on family vacations and even around the house. My dad noticed that I had an eye for photography so he bought me a cheap camera. Even though it was cheap, I learned so much on that camera and I even got some pretty good shots! Today, I mainly focus on my portrait photography business but I still love to take photos just for fun!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Thankfully, with my family’s support and Jesus blessing me, things have gone pretty well. I’ve had to work hard for this dream but it has been well worth it!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I absolutely love taking pictures of families and weddings. There is so much beauty in people and I want my camera to reflect that! I strive to capture lightness and joy in my photos, from the tiny toes of a baby to the first kiss at a wedding. My editing style is natural with a touch of warmth and contrast. I want my photos to be genuine and full of joy. This means straying away from moody and dark and instead embracing candid and free moments. It’s truly an honor to be a part of these precious moments!

I photograph because I love it. I take it seriously. And I embrace photography as an art. There are many photographers who focus heavily on their business without caring about their clients. My main mission is to always deliver high quality images that feel like art.
