Absolutely! My journey started with a genuine love for beauty and the confidence it brings. I’ve always been drawn to enhancing natural features, and brows quickly became my passion. What began as practicing on friends and family turned into something so much bigger. I took a leap of faith, got certified, and slowly started building my business from the ground up—one client and one brow at a time.

It wasn’t always easy. There were long days, self-doubt, and a lot of learning along the way. But I stayed committed to perfecting my craft and giving every client a personalized experience. Word of mouth started to spread, and that’s when things really started to grow. Now, I’m proud to say I’ve created a space where people not only come for beautiful brows, but also to feel seen, confident, and cared for.

This journey has been about more than just brows—it’s been about purpose, passion, and trusting the process. And I’m just getting started!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road—but every bump along the way has shaped me.

Starting out, one of the biggest challenges was confidence. I knew I had the passion and potential, but stepping into a space where people trust you with their appearance is intimidating. I also had to learn the business side—marketing, scheduling, managing finances—all while trying to grow my skill and client base.

There were slow seasons, last-minute cancellations, self-doubt, and moments where I questioned if I was doing the right thing. Balancing personal life and business wasn’t always easy either. But I pushed through with consistency, prayer, and the mindset that setbacks are setups for growth.

What kept me going was the vision. I knew I wanted to create more than just a beauty service—I wanted to build a brand, an experience, and a safe space for clients. Every struggle taught me something valuable, and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s all part of the journey.

Of course! I’m a brow artist and the owner of Dee’s Brow Magic—where I specialize in enhancing natural beauty through precision brow shaping, tinting, and restoration. I’m known for creating brows that not only look amazing, but are tailored to each individual’s face and features. My clients often say I have a gentle, detailed touch and a true eye for balance and symmetry.

What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients. For many, their appointment is more than just a beauty service—it’s a confidence boost, a self-care moment, and a safe space to feel seen and valued. I’ve helped people grow back their brows, restore their confidence, and even fall back in love with their natural beauty.

What sets me apart is the level of care I put into each service. I don’t rush. I listen, I educate, and I treat every brow like it matters—because it does. I also make it a point to keep evolving with new techniques, products, and knowledge, so I’m always offering the best. It’s not just about brows—it’s about the full experience, and that’s the magic behind what I do.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a shy and quiet child who lacked confidence. Beauty wasn’t something I was naturally drawn to—in fact, I was very much a tomboy, being the only girl among all brothers. I didn’t have a traditional example of femininity or what it meant to “be a girl” the way many others did.

What I did have, though, was a natural eye for detail—even if I didn’t realize it at the time. My interests ranged from playing with Barbies to shooting hoops, and the beauty industry wasn’t even on my radar. If you would’ve told me back then that I’d one day be running a beauty business, I would’ve never believed it. But somehow, all those pieces came together to lead me exactly where I’m meant to be.
