Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Hogan.
Hi Kelsey, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
If you’ve ever felt like you were meant for more – more impact, more freedom, more alignment – you’re not alone. I built my business on that very feeling.
I’m Kelsey Hogan, but my besties call me Kels. Nearly two decades ago, I stepped into the world of marketing with a mission to lead boldly and create real results. Since then, I’ve advised companies worth over $13 billion, led strategy for Fortune 500 brands, and collaborated behind the scenes with some of television’s most recognizable personalities. But the real story? It started when I decided to claim my own voice, and help other women do the same.
As the Founder and CEO of Small Batch Social Co., I’ve had the privilege of working intimately with more than 80 female entrepreneurs (and hundreds more in group and workshop settings!). Together, we’ve taken messy ideas, half-built offers, and invisible brands and turned them into magnetic businesses that scale with clarity, confidence, and staying power.
But my work is about more than just strategy. It’s about showing up for women who are ready to lead differently. I offer a full-spectrum approach: personalized mentorship, elevated social strategy, and smart, intentional brand-building that isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about claiming your space and leading from it.
Today, I’m not just building brands; I’m building legacies. My clients don’t just hit revenue goals (although yes, those are definitely in their too!). They also build movements, reshape industries, and regain their power in both their businesses and personal lives.
And while my calendar is often filled with coaching calls, client strategy sessions, and creative brainstorms, my most sacred role is being a mom to two incredible kids (and our overenthusiastic Golden Mountain Doodle). I believe in showing them what’s possible when a woman refuses to shrink, stay quiet, and keep her biggest, most delulu dreams at bay.
This isn’t about hustle. It’s about ownership. It’s about claiming what was always yours.
And that’s the story I’m here to tell.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Is entrepreneurship a smooth road? Absolutely not! That’s almost the beauty of it, right? It forces you to meet yourself over and over again, at every level, every pivot, every breakdown and breakthrough.
If it were as “easy” as posting a shiny picture on Instagram, we’d all be millionaires. Nope. This life isn’t for everyone. Why? Most aren’t willing to put in the work. And that’s not hustle culture vibes; that’s just the truth.
I’ve gone through dozens of ups and downs. My business was forced to make major moves when it shifted from SAHM fun money side hustle to “head of household” status after my divorce. I’ve navigated growing pains – with my team, and with clients. I’ve operated with and without systems (let me tell you – the former is the answer!). I’ve realized that investing in continued education, branding, and coaching is required to hit goals above those “10k months”. And I get it, spending money isn’t always an easy pill to swallow at first. But let me tell you, the ROI is always there when you align your investments properly. We spend money to make money. Period.
Being an entrepreneur is always a journey that keeps asking you to show up in new ways. Not just for the business, but for the woman you’re becoming in the process. That’s the real win. That’s the legacy.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the founder and CEO of Small Batch Social Co. (but a big rebrand is coming soon!). We’re a 5-year-old digital marketing studio that offers everything from full-service social media management to group or 1:1 coaching and content days. TL;DR: we help women turn their businesses into magnetic, recognizable brands that get them paid. We specialize in strategic marketing that’s equal parts strategic and aesthetic. We’re not just chasing trends or throwing content at the wall. We build ecosystems so that the brands we work with actually see results.
What sets us apart is how hands-on and honest we are. I’m not here to sell people fluff. I go deep with my clients: we talk strategy, leadership, revenue, and real alignment. I want to help women stop playing small and actually claim what’s next for them.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how much heart and genuine love and strategy we pour into everything, from one-on-one coaching to agency work. If you’re building something meaningful and you want it to grow in a way that feels good and drives results, that’s exactly where we come in.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
One of the biggest things people are surprised about is one of my offers: Private Coaching! Honestly, I don’t talk about it as much as I should. This is because the offer is limited on purpose. Proximity to me in a 1:1 capacity is a higher ticket, and by design, something takes a lot of time and intention on my end. However, I am very excited to invite new private clients into my business this summer!
