Hi Alona, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hello everyone! My name is Alona and I’m the owner of Born Beauté lash and brow studio which is located in Clawson. I am a licensed esthetician and I started my journey back in 2019. I used to work at a lash salon in Birmingham but after a while I knew that it’s time to leave a comfort zone and level up. I can tell for sure that I wouldn’t be where I am without the support system that I’ve got from my parents, best friends and of course my loyal customers. Their trust, encouragement, and presence have been instrumental in both my personal and professional journey.
But also my hard work and dedication got me where I am at today. To me, beauty is more than appearance — it’s confidence, it’s connection, and it’s care. Being able to help people see that in themselves is a gift I never take for granted. I’m endlessly thankful for where this journey has brought me and excited for everything that lies ahead.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting my business wasn’t easy. There were long days, trial and error, and moments of doubt. But every challenge taught me resilience and sharpened my craft. Now, when I look around my studio and see smiling clients and positive reviews, I’m reminded that the struggle was worth it.
