Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After experiencing the challenges and burnout faced by many healthcare professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic while working full-time as an X-ray Technologist, I sought a meaningful change. In 2021, I co-founded a small business with a close friend, which quickly began to flourish. Over time, I transitioned into the role of sole owner of the business—UV Photo Co & Event Décor—which specializes in High End Photo Booth Rentals and Luxury Flower Walls for weddings and events. This shift allowed me to reduce my hours as an X-ray Technologist to part-time during the week, while dedicating weekends to managing and growing my business. This transition not only provided greater flexibility and professional fulfillment but also allowed me to spend more quality time with my family (My husband, 2 year old son and one on the way).

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Naturally, there were challenges along the way—learning the ins and outs of managing a small rental business while also navigating the unique demands of the wedding industry. However, I view every obstacle as an opportunity for growth. Each setback provided valuable lessons that allowed me to refine my processes, improve my professionalism, and implement strategies to minimize the likelihood of similar issues arising in future events. Years of hands-on experience and a high volume of successful rentals have enabled me to deliver seamless, high-quality service to clients, ensuring their special day runs smoothly and memorably.

I specialize in creating fun, customizable, and elegant memories for guests, which not only enhances the overall event but also sets me apart from other vendors in the industry.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I prioritize clear and proactive communication with my clients, guiding them through every step of the customization process for their photo booths. In addition, I collaborate closely with them to establish the timeline for their special day, ensuring the photo booth or flower wall is strategically placed at the optimal location within the venue. This thoughtful planning maximizes its impact and guarantees that it delivers exceptional value, making it a worthwhile investment for my clients.

I provide personalized, white-glove service during rental setups and the operation of my booths. While engaging with guests, I ensure they feel at ease in front of the camera by offering guidance on posing, adjusting lighting, and fine-tuning camera settings. This attention to detail ensures each photo is flawless, making every guest feel like they’re stepping onto the red carpet.
