Check Out Vanessa Rice’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Rice.

Hi Vanessa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Massage Therapy was a school change for me. I did a 9-month program. After graduation i started doing Mobile Massage and working a small spa. Eventually I ended up at a massage franchise while still doing mobile massage. It’s been 15 years since i started.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth at all. It’s very hard at first because there are clients that have to be willing to try you out, sitting a few hours each day and even starting out working for someone else. If you start out on your own, it’s all the administration things like marketing, networking and stress.
With time it does get smoother but there will always be a hiccup somewhere.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I work for a franchise and run my own mobile massage business. I specialize with therapeutic spa wellness. I am a 3x Michigan Massage Champion. I stand out by the willingness to learn more so that i can be the best for my clients.

How do you think about happiness?
Healing and helping others with holistic health. I love this because there are lot of people that do not know that there is a healthier way to live.
